Competition is alive and well. We have just completed the third of our swimming sports which concludes our swim programme for this term. We will swim again in term 4. One of the things that you notice about the swim sports is how hard the children try to do their best - they want to win this despite the media push that schools are all about participation, some of the children were so determined to knock off their mates. Especially amongst the better swimmers the competition is fierce. I was very impressed with the quality of swimming overall with some beautiful swimming strokes on display showing how active some of our children are as people. Sanson won the senior house relay with a come from behind win amid huge excitement and fierce rivalry. Great fun. These type of things help create memories for the kids. Cross country next term - looking forward to it.
