The Flag

Well it has been a long time coming but the New Zealand flag is now flying above the war memorial in Muritai Rd. This is something we have been keen to do for a long time and we are grateful to the Eastbourne RSA of being supportive of us to use their flagpole. Our road patrollers are responsible for raising and lowering the flag and observing the correct protocol that comes with such a responsibility. As the centrepoint of the community it is nice to be able to share our property with the war memorial. It looks great and acknowledges the respect that we have for the soldiers who gave their lives for our wonderful country

Hi Mr Bird

Do you teach netball? Do you teach a class like Room1? Or are you just a Principal? On ANZAC Day did you put up the flag?
